From Dust To Dream
by Pedro Scansetti, Portugal (2025)
10 min.

In his workshop, surrounded by tools and the scent of resin, Nico seeks not just to shape surfboards, but to tell stories. From Dust to Dream follows his new journey an experiment with an unusual raw material that challenges industry standards and speaks to the earth, to time, and to the future. He sets out to answer a fundamental question: is it possible to create a board as durable and functional as a traditional one, with a smaller environmental impact, without losing the soul of surfing? To find out, he entrusts his creation to Filipe Seixas someone who, beyond being a surfer with a sharp eye and a visceral connection to the ocean, lives a life deeply rooted in the land. With a poetic and contemplative approach, the documentary isn’t just about surfing or design. It’s about choices. About past and future. About what we leave behind and what we can still dream and build.

Reptile Blood
by Thiago Camacho, Brasil (2025)
8 min.

Students, teachers, artists, and the community say: the public school is ours!
And they reaffirm the democratic and republican nature of free, high-quality education for all.
Bodies of teachers, students, and members of the school community interact in a territory of absences.
Lack of resources, relative neglect by public authorities, and other problems arising from this reality make these relationships difficult.
Even so, resistance and activism flourish, altering the value of things and transforming spaces and times.

by Carolina Vaz Rebelo, Portugal (2024)
18 min.

Returning from Brazil after her grandfather's passing, Laura finds herself the sole heir to his cattle farm. But a chance encounter on the estate soon reveals that all may not be as it seems.
